Flight Guardian
Volunteer Program
Flight Guardians are travelers who volunteer to escort rescue animals to safety on their journey home. It’s a small gesture that makes a big difference.
Meet at the Airport
A rescue partner will meet you at the airport with the animal and all needed documents.
Fly Together

The animal flies with you in cabin.

Hand-Off at Arrival
Someone will be waiting at your destination to receive the animal and take them home.
First-Time Flight Guardian
Experience
Shared by Sarah, Volunteer Flight Guardian
"It was my first time being a Flight Guardian, and although experienced with rescues and fosters, I was still a bit nervous for this trip. The entire process was a piece of cake, and I cannot wait to help again!
Truly, all I had to do was provide my flight info, respond to text messages to coordinate pick-up/drop-off at airports, and go through security with little baby.
TSA had me hold her while putting her crate through security. Many TSA agents and airport employees stopped to say hi to the lil baby and thank us for helping pups in need.
The baby behaved perfectly the entire way. I could tell she was nervous, but she didn’t make a sound and simply slept the entire flight!
Will definitely be participating again!
Thank you all for the work you do."
